Well, I am probably very invisible. I am just a teenage girl in high school. Oh yes, my specialties include Justin Beber and texting and shopping and boys and omg shoes. How could I forget shoes? I actually do quite enjoy shoes, but that is besides the point. Most people would assume I am lazy or that I don’t care about others. You know us good for nothing teenagers only think of ourselves.
Now that I think of it, I am not just probably invisible. I am invisible. It isn’t so much to do with race like in The Invisible Man but with my age and gender. The stereotypes as previously stated are what my own mom will say about me. I literally came out of that woman, and she still refuses to listen to me, to see me. I’m not a completely typical teenage girl. I love to read graphic novels, play video games, and make lame pun jokes. I also work and pay for all my daily expenses and manage my own budget. I have worked my butt off in school to get to where I am.
But alas I am still just a teenage girl. I suppose it could be worse. I still have time to mature and develop. Hopefully, one day people will come to acknowledge me. I have always figured it is because I am young that people don’t take me seriously yet. They will all pay…jk that sounds crazy, but I do plan on proving them wrong.
For the record, I hate Justin Beber.
